Dear blog,
It's been so long I have not written a word here, was I buzy? Lazy or just unserious? Well I guess a little of all.
Recently I posted a picture of myself on Instagram were the difference in my weight-loss was obvious. The picture showed my 60kg weight-loss and I must say I trended for a while. Lol.
The interesting thing about the pictures trending is the reactions that followed, different weight-loss product sellers ascribed the success to their products, I heard I used some products I did not even know existed before, lol.
People started asking me on fb, twitter, bbm etc what are you using? They expected me to tell them about a miracle pill or a magical herb lol, some even claimed it was surgery lol
Well all these stuff made me remember you my dear old blog, who else can tell my own story better than me? And who can help me tell my story better than my blog? So let's start from the very beginning, the very very beginning of it all. Lol.
Oh don't forget that am not a writer really, I leave that to my brother. At times like this I wish I had my brother's genius mind and excellent writing skills but alas I have to write my story in simple plain words and hope you all enjoy reading it. Anyway with the kind of English some bloggers write these days I guess I won't do so badly, lol, they mix up these and this, don't know the difference between been and being, use has for had, some even spell those as dose, (my father who is a retired teacher would have lost his mind reading some of these so called blogs).
Anyway, back to the very beginning, I was really a skinny child, I was so skinny people made fun of my skinny body. I was skinny and tall, I played more with boys and enjoyed being a tomboy, life was normal and nice.
However I got into boarding school (still very skinny), but I remembered people would look at me and say stuff like, this girl you are going to be sooooooo fat. I would look at myself over and laugh at that, me? Fat? How? Very funny. It seemed almost impossible. Actually when they said stuff like that I would say ameeeeeeeen cause I was really skinny and had no curves and really never liked it.
Boarding school though had its own experiences, we ate cabin biscuits and milk, mixed beverages and milk together to make chocolate paste and used it to eat biscuits and bread. Oh so much junk in boarding school.... Lol. The beans in school was so crappy we would put sugar in it before even tasting it ; for years I could not eat beans without sugar (would always sneak to the kitchen at home to put sugar in my beans cause my mother would have killed me if she ever found out). Technically my sweet tooth started from boarding school, but the weight didn't add on. I guess that was due to school activities, I didn't care much for school food and there was a thing called consumption (consumption is when the dinning hall doors are locked against late comers so the people who made it in would end up eating the food meant for the whole school, and those who are locked out go without food). Consumption was kinda like rapture lol. Needless to say I was constantly locked out during consumption, and of course I took it out on junk food.
Boarding school had its own issues, we had sand flies that made my life miserable, I was always ill and generally didn't cope too well. Hence by form 3, my folks decided to bring me back home to Lagos to attend a day school.
Upon resuming at day school, I had access to junk and little activity like boarding school and then the pump up started, I started putting on weight by the day. Funny thing is I had been skinny for so long that when I started packing up the kilograms I did not mind. My brother from his wisdom kept saying you are becoming too fat you need to control it and I kept thinking what's his problem, so am fat what's the big deal. Oh how my brother harassed me, but I loved my junk. I remember buying cream biscuits and hiding them in all sorts of places to eat when no one was watching. My mouth constantly needed to be buzy. And so my journey to weight gain began........
Hmmm! Interesting. I am waiting for the concluding part o! I love to hear the whole story, with all the juicy details, please.
